Johannis Cemetery in Nuremberg

The roots of this cemetery can be tracked back to 1000 AC In the medieval times a lot of famous Nuremberg citizens were buried here. The most famous among them were Albrecht Dürer and Veit Stoß.

I like it! I don't think anyone has posted a cemetery theme on PB! There are so many interesting gravestones in this cemetary too! Great shots! The scull and crossbones are a nice touch.
