Fascinating set. Quite apocalyptic, really. Mr Nasty (i.e., me) would say that Photoshop would correct for the perspective distortion in a way no glass filter could... ;-)

I'm only saying that because I have to justify the huge expense of buying Photoshop in some way!

But then I would have one more thing to carry! You are so right though... on the rare occasion that I remember to carry, say my polarizing filter, I'm quite surprise at how much fun it can be. But mostly I'm lazy. :-) This was a fun post, thanks for experimenting and showing us the results!

Interesting set. Thanks for the commercial info, too. Asap (?) I'll buy a new one as I crashed my polarized filter days ago (butter hands) :-(

Very nice set! I had a lot of Cokin filters when I used my old Nikon SLR, but it didn't fit my new camera. I bought my son a Nikon D5000 kit, and gave him my old filters. I hope he can use them as creative as you do here.

These show the benefits of ND grad filters perfectly - reminds me I really must dig mine out of my box of camera gear!
