The Four Corners National Monument, the only location in the USA where four states meet at one celebrated spot.
Not since the Mason Dixon Line has a geographical contrivance created so much excitement.
The exact coordinates happen to fall on a Navajo Indian Reservation and being such benevolent custodians of a national treasure it seems only fitting that they charge five bucks a carload to view the little metal plaque on the ground that will assure you; I am at a tourist trap.
