The Proof is in the Plaque~ Four States Pulling Together for Your Vacation Dollar

John Ford's Favorite Smoking Spot

Vanished Viewpoint

The Four Corners National Monument, the only location in the USA where four states meet at one celebrated spot.
Not since the Mason Dixon Line has a geographical contrivance created so much excitement.
The exact coordinates happen to fall on a Navajo Indian Reservation and being such benevolent custodians of a national treasure it seems only fitting that they charge five bucks a carload to view the little metal plaque on the ground that will assure you;
I am at a tourist trap.
