Dear friends:
It was 27 years ago that John Lennon was pointlessly murdered in NYC.
December8, 1980.
Still seems so shocking. Such a waste. We could certainly use his
voice demanding peace today.
I heard the news the moment my clock radio went off that cold winter
morning.
I woke my housemate with the horrible info.
Today I only recall two groggy guys in a big freezing house trying to
get some news on a tiny, beat-up black and white TV.
