Is mold art?

My daughter and I both feel very strongly about our books so when we went to retrieve my books from where they were stored in a commercial self-storage locker we just about wept. I have lost probably 300 books to a leak in their foundation. However, my photographic eye kicked in because there was beauty in the destruction. What do you think?

pdsdville How horrible. Nothing can replace what you've lost. At least you made the best of your loss.

ArtBee They do make great photos, but the destruction of your books is a great price to pay. What a loss! Will you be compensated?

DancingDolphin The loss is so sad that it's hard to look past it. :-(

????? Oh no! But the photos are great .... I hope you'll be able to replace those that means most to you, even if it won't be the same. Shall I send you my copy of Under The Net? ;-)

Chak Terrible! Perhaps now is not the time to mention that Dickens and other classics are available on iBooks free?

CHOSSID Oh my! I totally feel for you -- I am afraid this is what happened to hundreds of my books in storage!
