In Yosemite we wandered into a gaggle of Asian Camera Girls. This fascinating species migrates to the most beautiful and interesting places in the world to use the scenic views as backgrounds for their never ending quest to get the "cutest" portrait.
It was a unique opportunity to photograph some of them in action. |

Very true. Although I used a long lens and stayed well out of the way. Much like shooting any wildlife, you don't want to influence their natural behavior : ) There have been a lot of articles in Vice Magazine (online)about recent photography fads among Japanese girls. They have developed some very innovative styles. I'm thinking that if I come across enough of these it could become an interesting photo essay. They were certainly packing some mean equipment and working very hard at it Grey
