i was threatened with "police knocking on my door" by security staff and escorted back to my car by a security guard at the shopping centre where i was testing my brand new camera after i refused to hand over my memory card with these photos; the pictures are posted "as shot" and not manipulated; but butcher, baker and fish man had no objections; the shopping centre is located at mount ommaney, brisbane, australia

HazCam hi stitch;
i went back to the scene of the crime to look for conditions of entry;
they were listed, but far from obvious :
6 pictograms were listed, prohibiting various things;
you can see 4 of them in pic 5
smoking appeared their major concern,
cameras and mobile phones with camera were not listed;
i am also aware of many people taking photos there
i feel singled out and discriminated against by mount ommaney shopping centre management

HazCam email from Centre Manager :

I have now had a chance to respond to your emails regarding your complaint.

I have established that you did stop taking photos when our Security Guard requested you do so and therefore my understanding as at Friday that you continued to do so was incorrect.
I apologise for that incorrect assumption but wish to clarify that I did not state I would ban you, only that if you continued to take photos without our permission you would be asked to leave the property and only then, if you continued to disregard our request, you COULD be trespassed.

In hindsight the whole matter could have been better handled by our Senior Security Guard and we have discussed this with him.

We confirm we will delete your vehicle registration number from our records and the security camera footage will be automatically deleted within 7 days.
We reiterate our company policy is to not let people take photos on our property without our permission and while you may disagree with that you are asked to abide by it.
We have not given you permission to use images taken here to put on the photoblog site and assume the people in the photos would not be aware you have used their images without their permission.

We respectfully request you to remove those images .

We welcome you as a shopper to our centre in the future provided you do not take photos.

Kind Regards

HazCam well Mr Centre Manager , you said it yourself :

"in hindsight the whole matter could have been better handled by our Senior Security Guard and we have discussed this with him."

there were and still are NO signs Prohibiting Photography in your center; you made police on the run;
I feel discriminated against;
your staff treated me like a would_be terrorist;
you should have called the police there and then.

there are lots of people who take photographs in your shopping center;
can you tell me which offense I committed, seeing you threatened to send the police to my house ?
