Situated at the juncture of the Bruce and Isis Highways, Childers is apporimately 320 kilometres north-west from Brisbane.
One of the most picturesque towns on the Bruce Highway, the main street of Childers is lined with leopard trees and a number of beautifully preserved historic buildings. An 'historic walk' guide is available at the Visitor Information Center
