Obviously, their definition of fresh is quite loose. Who can trust slogans and mottos these days. They are simply ploys to get us to spend our money, and then once they get it we are worthless to them.

Sorry for being so negative. It's just that I can relate to poor service, poor quality, and vain promises.

so do I Shady, but they have to be of good quality and not rotten when I buy them; this is the 3rd time in about 3 months that I paid a premium price for rotting onions from the same place

after that i received this : thank you for taking the time to communicate to Woolworths with respect to the issues you have encountered with onions at our Mt Omanney store. As Woolworths are committed to providing quality service and products, we are not only interested to learn of your concerns, but strive to maintain all expectations placed by our customers. I have spoken with our suppliers about the need for extra vigilance on quality and to continue to invest in improvements to their harvesting, grading and packaging processes. Our quality control team at our Brisbane Produce Distribution centre have also been undertaking more random checks of product. I trust that you have seen an improvement on the overall quality lately as a direct result of this. Once again thank you for your comments, for without such feedback we could not continue to improve our offer to our customers. Kind regards (name deleted) National Business Manager Produce Buying and Marketing Woolworths Limited

I like to draw attention to photos 3 & 4; obviously Woolworse have gone back to their bad old habbits, despite their alleged 'extra vigilance' more than a year later
