dinner and the beach.

kelsea took me to moes for food because i was flat out broke, thanks kels! We tried to get out to the end of the world, and to ford the pass to get to the Island Closest to Heaven, but the tide was too high. The sea was all the way up to the mangroves, and between the heavy surf and sand being kicked up all around us, the path was completely impassable. Exacerbating the situation was the responsibility of us having to keep our bags full of equipment from getting trashed.

...so much for getting nighttime landscapes...

all was not lost though. I was the bio-photoluminescence, tiny little plankton that glow indigo/green when agitated. they were all in the surf and up on the mangroves. whenever the waves would crash, there were more stars in the water than we could see in the sky. There's something about the End of The World and the surrounding areas that's different than the rest of the shore.
