We celebrated my little brother's birthday today! He's the big 1-2!! So happy birthday to him! My aunt and cousins came over and he was able to invite his friend who lives a couple of streets up to come and sing "happy birthday" to him and enjoy some yummy-yummy chocolate fudge cake. His birthday was the 29th, but we always celebrate birthdays on the Sunday after it happens if it falls during the week...kind of an unwritten tradition for us i guess.
afterwards we all then packed into the burgundy Navigator (aunt, cousins, siblings and parents) and the two families bought our Xmas trees. It's weird getting it so early....for us it's usually a chore that we do about a week before Christmas just so we can have one up for show because we're all too exhausted from working by then to really be able to decorate it fully. So maybe this year we'll get it completely set up and lookin' beautiful. I just hope it doesn't die so soon after the holiday, seeing as we usually leave it up until a few days after the New Year.
I dunno what happened to the pics that i took under the tree tent...i can't get the color balance correct...i think it has to do the the Xenon lamps in there, they always are hell to correct. otherwise, enjoy!
