news and updates....the such

hehehe....it's a mac!

...sort of. i'm running it on my photo workstation which used to be just like any other dual core windows box you've come across (i hacked it onto the computer). many thanks to Insanely Mac for installation support!

The whole idea is to run OS X on my regular computer instead of windows so i can migrate and adjust to the OS change and also retool my RAW workflow for Aperture instead of Lightroom while i wait to recieve my iMac in January. We'll see how it works out.

in other news, I got my camera back from cleaning today!! Taht's big news, trust me. So, expect regular updates again and some strange stuff as i try to figure out Aperture.

EDIT: 2:29AM, aperture is waaaaaay more complicated than i thought, ugh.
