carolina, the roof and an alleyway adventure.

I had the day off from work today. (YAHOOO!)

So around 1:30 miss carolina shoots me a text and wants to know if i want to go shooting downtown. me not being one to turn down a chance to go shooting, i made my way over there and met her in an antique shop, only about a half hour late, hahaha.

so while we were wandering around downtown, we stumbled upon this alley, tucked right in the middle of a well-known group of buildings. neither one of us had ever seen this place before so we decided to duck in and take a look around.

AMAZING.

it was great. i never knew that a place so gritty and urban existed in the fort. we climbed up the rusted out fire escapes to see what was around and ended up spotting some gnarly grafitti on top of a a discotheque called the Beat Club....so of course i jumped from the fire escape to a roof and then climbed up an eight foot wall to reach this roof and take some panoramics of it. I love grafitti with a story. Carol stayed on the fireescape and played lookout to warn me so i could duck down in case police drove by. I'm pretty sure playing around on random roofs constitutes tresspass, but whatever.

overall, about an hour of shooting an one more place to add to the map, the ally.

Mirah is an awesome artist, her voice and the guitar is very soothing.
