D700 + 20mm AF 2.8 all at

Taken all on my last night in gainesville, last saturday. I really do miss my friends up there, so much more than i thought i would. it's not that it's bad down here, it's just different.
I just need to adjust i think.
Work lately, meaning the past two days since i've been back, has been grueling. like ten hour days grueling in either naples or north fort myers. i guess i got my fill of break time up in gaiesville, ahahaha. It really takes away from the christmas spirit, i can't say that i'm feeling it yet this year and i don't know if i'm going to.
Shooting with Harrison's (photo three) D700 (thanks!) and my glass was a big eye opener, like the wedding, in to how much i've really gotta get new gear. You put the right equipment into the right hands and magic happens. I just wish it wasn't 2500$ for a d700 body, so i guess it's going to be a while until i see one in regular rotation in my gear.
speaking of gear, bea (photo five) gets her d80 for Christmas, i'm going to encourage her to open a photoblog so even if she isn't shooting assignments for the
alligator she'll have someplace to put photos and get critted. I realize that i told her that she probably doesn't have the eye, but sometimes you just have to put someone down to make them try harder, and that's what makes them good. She should be a solid shooter with some stick time under her belt behind the lens.

by the way, Photoshop CS4 nice...more evolution than revolution, but the small things add up to make the program flow much nicer.
