Sometimes, when editing a photo it's very hard to decide which version i like better. take the photos above for example. They were in an
earlier post but in black and white.
it's rough, i really like both copies of the photo...but for me the color version has this "something" about it that i can't really describe and when the photo is converted to black and white, it loses something.
After flipping back and forth between both versions i still think the color version is better.
look, forget it i can't figure out what i'm trying to say here. I just want to put it out there that some photos are made by their color, and when you take it away, the whole thing falls apart.
the only reason i b-dubbed that photo was to make it fit into a set of other black and white photos, but it took a hell of a lot of toning to get it to look how i wanted.
sometimes the only thing you have to do is click the shutter and when you look at the photo on the computer, is "sings" to you...it just feels right. don't try to perfect perfection, just go with it.

So I sold a D3 today, i really hope the asshole who bought it uses it to at least part of its full potential.
He's not an asshole because he can afford to purcahse it, no not at all. (honestly, promise) He's an asshole because he treated me like something that had just come off the bottom of his shoe and insulted my photography skills by asserting that my youth made me a less skilled shooter. douche.
whatever though.
