the sea

i don't think i'll be able to live far from the sea for any length of time. even after having moved away and now living back on the gulf coast, when that sea air hits me it takes me to another place.

the sound of the waves, the salty air, the sand crunching between my toes -it overloads my senses and i go into a catatonic state of life overdose where all i can do is sit there and take everything in.

it's great.

i went to the pier in naples today after work because i got off in time to see the sunset.

the white line on the horizon is the horizon glowing just after sunset. weird, i know.
