so i know i've been bad.

i haven't updated in a long, long time, but i've been doing a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff, i swear

yesterday night i wiped my computer (it felt cluttered, so i decided to erase everything and start over :) ), and tonight i bit the bullet and decided to sort about three years worth of photos that have been sitting in various folders across a couple of external hard drives, an ipod and two computers.

yeah, i've been putting it off for a while but now everything is filed, backed up and entered into aperture.

on a scary side note, i didnt back up my itunes because i figured, "oh, i'll just get all my music off my ipod, no big," but then i remembered that it wouldn't save my playlists...after i erased my computer. d'oh!

i'm a playlist/mix cd junkie and if i can't have my playlists i might as well just stop listening to music. so to cut a long and boring story sort i saved them, but it cost me £10...which i'm pretty sure is around $18 (!!)

sigh.

so yeah, more updates coming asap, stay tuned.

in other news, bea and some of my friends from gainesville will be in town for their spring break. i can't wait to get to spend time with her, it's making me giddy and anxious.

I have about 5 years of photos to organize... I don't know if I'll ever get around to it, hahaha. So you use Aperture? is that a file-organizing program? Amethystia · 2009-03-11: 19:09
