it works becaus the first developer in the color process is a bw developer. by skipping the bleach and second developer you just get really really really dense bw negs with an orange tint.

this, is awesome.

diamondntherough This is why we need to try that process where you develop slides with some BW developer during the E6 process, so you get a sort of silver overlay on your color slides. Looks super cool.
