photos taken at the Wishmaker's Ball back in October. potential cutline below:
"The ball featured local TV celebrities as well as dance students performing various dance numbers as part of a dinner and a show in an attempt to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation which grants children with terminal illnesses one "wish." The event, which also featured a silent auction and voiced bidding on items such as colored balloons to signify different levels of giving raised over 40,000 dollars and was was hosted at the Coconut Point Hyatt-Regency Resort and Hotel in Bonita Springs."
...and in reality? There were crazy event coordinators that wanted get in my face and dictate what i shoot and how i shoot it, bitchy gay guys fussing over make-up, clothing and who knows what else, asshole TV newspeople in a no-name town with a tiny market who like to think they are hot shit and tell me how to shoot them, and on top of it the women who i was supposed to shoot getting ready called security on me citing me as a peeping tom.
but really, what would a shoot be without tiny snags like that, you know? that stuff is always there...you just, uh, ignore it i guess. you just have to center yourself and relax so you can "see." don't take it as me bitching, because there's stuff like that at every shoot, it's part of the job, and i l-o-v-e it. it keeps life exciting. it's just not too often that you get to see/hear/read what it's like during the shoot.
some people like that kind of "behind-the-scenes" stuff-ola.
and all in all, it turned out fairly well...though i think i've got some major grain issues to attend to, hahahaha.
So the fact of the matter is that I've got over 500 RAW files to process for tomorrow that i've been putting off for over a month to deliver
tomorrow at Two PM.
