i am a space nerd, there's just no other way to say it.
since as far back as i can remember i've always wanted to be an astronaut. i wanted to fly, to see the earth from above and the heavens as well.
there's something about being blasted into space on top of one-hundred thousand gallons of liquid explosives that's made by the highest bidder that can't be matched by much else.
i'm pretty sure it's the same thing that compels me to be a war photographer.
the adventure, the thrill, the fear all of it sounded amazing, and a life i wanted to live. the unfortunate part about it is that my eyes went south and are out of range to be considered for astronaut candidacy, even though i am correctable to 20/20...so i decided to be a photographer.
