Blackjack. The stray dog that in less than a day became one of the family. He showed up on our back deck and wouldn't leave. Of course, it's kind of hard to leave when you've got an 8 and 5 year old boy both pampering to your every whimper.

We're pretty sure he got dumped off...not too uncommon. He had some fleas, his coat wasn't in the best shape...probably from either being kept on a hard surface, kept in a small/confined space, or both...and his right front leg has had some trauma of some sort.

Long story, short...he's really fun to have around. Vet says he should be fine.
