I cannot sleep.

For the past 3 years we have traveled to Mali, in the western region of Africa. Through those travels, it has become more and more apparent that Denise & I are turning African. Okay...maybe not literally, but we really enjoy the people...we really enjoy the people...we really...(this is where I become melancholy and am not able to think or type.)

It is with great excitement and great heartache that I begin a journey back to Africa in just a few short hours. Great excitement because of the opportunity to build, relate, sight-see, etc. However, all of this will take place in a completely different part of Africa than what I am accustom to. My friends are in Mali...and while I will be in Africa, I will still be practically a world away.
