I had a really hard time finding the right settings on the camera for these shots. The white ice made it extremely difficult and therefore the shots are not near as clear as they should be. However, I chalk this group of photos up to "getting experience" and am not concerned as much about the quality. The quality comes from the fact that I was there with my wife and boys!...man she's beautiful!

Beautiful family! I think you're supposed to overexpose 1 to 2 f-stops to make the snow white instead of light gray. These look pretty good to me! lgnelson · 2011-01-09: 11:13
