I have another photoblog account (TamaraHarden), that I've had for several years, but that was created as a means to share family photos with family, and to easily share a picture no matter where I am. I recently got a new camera, and I want to post pics on a daily basis, but didn't want them entangled with my other pictures, and besides, I know that not EVERYBODY wants to see pictures of my grandchildren all the time!!

I am not a professional photographer, by any means, I just love to take pictures. This blog will force me to look for everyday things to shoot. I am not going to do the 365 days of shooting, because I am sure there will be days when there is nothing to shoot, but I am going to try and find something.

	The fire nearest us is now 100% contained....but we had to evacuate when it was at its worst. Not fun....very stressful and scary. Nothing in or around our town was harmed, but hundreds of houses burned down in Colorado Springs. The July monsoons have started, thank goodness....I hope our worries are over for this year anyway! 	So sorry to hear about your mom, but it seems it was her time. I know you had many great times and made some wonderful memories before she passed on.
