Our great friends Bob & Nancy just moved away to Sparks, Nevada. They bought a house on the golf course, literally on the 6th hole. We went to visit them 2 weeks ago to help break in their house & to celebrate Bob's birthday. Quite the culture shock in my opinion, moving from a small town with lots of trees to the total suburbs, with very few trees to be found.
But the golf course is gorgeous, the scenery is beautiful, and the friendship is as warm and cozy as ever! And Nell is loving her new home so it's all good.
It snowed over night & the golf course was even more beautiful with a fresh dusting of white. And the birds were incredible! I'll be doing a future post just of the birds in their yard!

What a great place. Looks like you all had a lot of fun. I love the geese in #5 and the color of the yellow hooded blackbird is amazing!

I really like this series, it gives a great sense of your day with them. Um, not to mention the TWO deserts. Oh, my mouth was watering. And I love the birdies. :) And Nell. :)

Interesting series of shots Jannie with some superb images throughout: #5, #6, #9, #19, #21 and #22 being among my favs. I think I like #6 best of all.

Looks like a fun visit to good friends and a great place. They do have a nice doggie! But two desserts is a bit over the top! ;) I really like #5 and 6.
