I'm trying to get into the gardening mood. It's trying to snow right now here in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. I'm so done with snow for the season! I'm going to spend the weekend with my best friend in the San Francisco Bay Area and we are going to our favorite nurseries. We call garden sculpture "foo-foo". Since it's too early to plant I can see some garden foo-foo in my near future!

These shots were taken last summer at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens in Mendocino, California. It's a beautiful touristy coastal town with a fabulous botanical garden.
