Virginia City Nevada is a 2 hour drive from my home, and a huge step back in time. My BFF and I recently spent a fabulous spa weekend in nearby Reno Nevada. After our spa treatments we spent the day in nearby Virginia City. The highlight was the cemetery, dating back to the early 1800s and to the silver mining bonanza of the time.
It was cold, it was windy, it was incredibly beautiful.
