On Mt. Charleston, on the trail to Fletcher's Canyon. We never actually made it to the canyon, but the trail was nice.

I'm not sure if he's going to be that big on Monday, but that would be great! I'll be happy even with 6 1/2 lbs. He's now in the normal range of a 4-week old, which is his 'adjusted age,' since we're 4 weeks past his due date now.

The photo of you holding my great nephew and goop is dripping out of his mouth to me makes him look more like grandpa Robert. I see white mittens not pink. Tell grandma to put her glasses on.

Were is his new weight. he went to the Doctor's today and the time difference is no excuse. Hi Reese; I will teach you how to get even with your parents Love Grampa

It took me so long tp get to the computer to give his weight because reese has miserable and crying all day ever since he got his vaccinations this morning. He looks very cute with band aids all over his legs though. And he ca't get polio, so that's good too. okay, drum roll......Reese weighs a whopping 8 lbs 13 oz!! Somehow he put on just under 3 lbs in one month!! He is officially newborn--and Iggy--size. And the mittens in the picture with Reese looking at Brian really are pink. Brian said they were out of any other preemie mittens, but his newborn mittens were too big. Then again, when Brian bought Reese his first preemie clothes when we were in the hospital, one was for girls with puffy sleeves. So clothes shopping is now all up to me.

And I am glad we learned early not to let Brian do the clothes shopping.. Just imagine what he would get for his 1st birthday......maybe a pink dress?? LOL just kidding. Love ya Karen
