We unexpectedly had a chance to weigh Reese this week--he is 15lbs, 8 oz, more than triple his birth weight. He's putting on about one pound every three weeks.
Almost every day we take Reese out somewhere: today it was to the Fur Fest, where Fletcher got to sniff lots of dogs and Reese got to watch.

I know I saw it just about every time but he is so cute and getting so big - but then again isnt that what babys do? - get big? He really is a bundle of joy - I cant wait to see him again. See now if you guys lived closer we would have a ton of toys for you - Gavin is turning 1 next week so there are alot of things he doesnt use anymore. Not to mention clothes!! I swear Gavin is a girl when it comes to clothes!! Or maybe that is cause of my sister. Love you guys - Kiss that adorable baby for me. Karen

I keep getting comments, even from strangers when we're out with Reese, about his hats. The blue one with his name on it is from my mother, the colorful knit one was made by Reese's Aunt Lauren, and the orange one, which is either supposed to be a pumpkin or carrot, we bought at Whole Foods ( a supermarket where we really can't afford anything but they pass out free samples so it's a fun place to take Reese). And just wait until you see how adorable he looks in his winter jacket in another month or so! --Melissa

Guys the pics are really exciting to look at.But I can't wait to hug and squeese him. Kiss him for his Nana. The outfits look great,Mel keep up the good work. The hats are fab.Lauren did a fine job on making that hat. So much talent in your family.And WOW Reese is really 15.8lbs. Hes a real butteball.We can't wait to see and hold him,read stories and play with him. Not to mention listen fo all his wonderful sounds, along with that Beautiful smile. I can remember spending a ton of money on my nephews for their birthdays and for them to play with the box!! Hey maybe we should just wrap up a old box for him - either that or just wrap a pot and a wooden spoon
