Today, I learned a valuable lesson: Chaos ensues if you try to take pictures of animals using a lensbaby. I don't know why I thought it might be possible, if I learned last week that you can't take candids, why did I ever expect to take pics of things that are smaller and quicker? I spent my lunchtime at the park, took over 100 shots and this was the best! I leave it to yor imagination just how bad the rest were.

i know what you mean, one perfect as is this one, and a load of rather "useless" ones, had that more than once ;-) thank god for digi, it would be an expensive lesson otherwise ;-)

Then I don't rate the chances of New York (or is it Beijing?) very highly...
I've tried with a lens baby and a tilt-shift lens to capture something easy, say statues (see "stare" and "Goodbye Mr Chippy" posts), and I still mess up. Still, it offers hours of harmless entertainment and sometimes you get lucky. I think you did very well with this one. Bravo.

I think it's a fine picture. I'll let you know if the flapping of the duck's wings sets into motion a series of events that results in an out-of-season hurricane here in South Carolina.(or is that another theory?)
