And very impressive it is too. What did you use to align and blend the various images? I'm going to niggle, though: the overall image lacks a scale. I don't know whether this is a tiny wooden mouse shot with focus-stacking or a huge one shot normally (although the leather wrinkles help) and I'd up the exposure a bit. But you can put that down to sour grapes. I'm just jealous, is all.

All I can say Jon is that I like your shot a lot for its colours and all in focus. As a beginner I've already started to find many obstacles in making possible what I see and I would like to make through my new camera... My macros aren't good as they always go out of focus in some parts... Excuse my analphabet way of expressing :-)
