If only I knew what game this was. Great capture and it puts me in mind of a drinking game I used to play in my wild youth, which goes by the unfortunate name of Mexican Arseholes. Line up two rows of five shot glasses with tequila. Place five drops of Tabasco in the first, six in the second, seven in the third, and so on. Tequila and Tabasco explain the Mexican part of the name. The second part becomes patently obvious the next day. Needless to say, this is a game you play to lose. Ah, those were the days...
'Mexican Arseholes' is for wimps, we used to play a game called 'Edge'...
'Edge' invovled a whole load of us pooling some money together and buying an assortment of spirits, beers, scrumpy, worcester sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, etc.
We would all sit around a table with a half pint glass in the middle and concoctions would be made using the ingredients. Each player would take a turn bouncing a 5p coin (the old, larger ones) onto the table to try to bounce it into the glass. If it went straight into the glass without touching the edge you could nominate someone to drink the contents in one go!! Often people would swallow the coin too. If the coin touched the edge of the glass, then you'd get just one more try to do it without touching or you'd have to drink it down yourself.
There would be a bucket handy and the winner would be the remaining person not to have puked :-D
This game is really stupid, and leads to all sorts of disasterous consequences...
I was going to recount a tale, but thinking about it...it's better left in the past :-D
