Cupola in a square. I'd go for the lighting in a non-conformist church (if that's the correct word, although I believe Quakers call them a meeting house). I'd be tempted to opt for a bank, but there are cross motifs along the base. Go to Galeries Lafayette on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris and you'll see what Mammon can do.
Normally this kind of "rosone" is for ceiling or main facade... it doesn't seem into a religious building... for me is a ceiling.

Dome of a Muslim mosque? Aren't they the ones that purposefully put imperfections in their work, believing that only God is perfect?
The darker squares on the lower right keep the symetry from perfection. Close???
