Yesterday I posted a picture of a mutant flower. Today, this is what I believe to be a mutant wasp. Its front-right and centre-left legs appear to have extra little growths at the end. I did zoom in to check whether it had something stuck in its claws, but I don't think so. The colours seen to be too close to the wasps leg colour for it to be something else. What do you think? All shots may need enlarging to see properly.
I still haven't got the perfect wasp shot that I've envisaged. But I'm getting nearer.
Jon, I look really closely with this enlarge and I think it's an additional growth. What a beautiful creature!
Wow, are you sure that there is not some toxic agent lurking in your area. You certainly are sniffing out some abberations of nature! LOL Great shots Jon!!! It actually looks like a complete mini wasp in #3 & 4. Siamese twins only one is super small!
