I went to watch our wolf spiders this morning and found this little beauty in the plants above the gravel that they like.

She isn't a wolf spider. At least, if she is, she's a different species to the others that we have. I think that she's probably a Nursery Web Spider, Pisaura mirabilis. Whatever she is, she's a real beauty even if she does appear to be missing a leg or two.
