Changi Airport Terminal 3

2008.02.07
Iconic Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower

The roof is covered in 919 skylights that automatically adjust to the sunlight, allowing the inside of the terminal to be filled with soft natural light. As you look up you'll see beautiful and complex moving shades that form random textures throughout the whole building - and because of the specially designed shades there's never any glare or intrusion of the outdoor tropical heat. At night, the skylights glow with artificial lighting discreetly concealed below the reflector panels. The result is a soothing ambience all times of the day and night.

Terminal 3 has almost as many services and amenities as some small cities!

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong visited Changi Airport workers to express gratitude to those who keep essential services going, when most Singaporeans are enjoying a public holiday.
