I love how to water is so clear.. the small rock adds a very nice detail to this. You have to love the sky.. lovely.

This is gorgeous!!! The water is amazing. (You're getting lots of artifacts/noise in the blue sky though. Maybe a little too much compression when you saved for the web?)

Thanks people. I think I know what you mean LL, but being the rank amateur that I am, I'm not sure what you mean by compression and how I can control it.

The water is gorgeous, unreal almost, like some frozen plastic surface. Th estrong contrast does the rest, great shot. I get the best results in this blog if I prescale the image to 500px width, then resharpen it using unsharp mask and saving it at 100% quality. The reson for this is that the blog software scales to 500px width by default, applies relatively strong compression and doesn't resharpen when scaling the image...
