I hopped on the train to Graz to visit Katie for the weekend. Through the mountains, headed southward. Katie met me at the train station, and we started by walking through part of the city for me to get a feel for it.
My impressions were very different than Vienna. Few of the buildings were as grandiose as Viennese buildings. Graz is still the second largest city in Austria, but it doesn't have as much of that royal pretense. It seemed to be a big university town.
