My dad's buick.

2006.12.22

A cold, gray day. I don't think I would have left my place on the biggest shopping day of the year if not for the fact that the camera battery was about to die.

I had to try a few places to get the battery, and along the way I managed to pick up a new laptop (MacBook), some plywood and yet another cat toy. I was grateful to have the use of a car. Usually I walk everywhere, or ride my bike.

JuliaGotz Only now, as I post these shots, I notice how the drugstore clerk's lovely mouth looks like the woman painted on the wall of the Cameron (the pic above her).

tortoise It does! Their mouths are virtually identical, just mirror images. I love the old brick signage, too. That always speaks to me, ancient brick. I have something similar that I took in New Orleans, an old soft drink sign painted on brick, that I'll post at some point. I love seeing your world through your eyes, JG. Every new blog is a revelation.
