Afternoon break

2007.01.03

The sunshine brought everything to life. I walked through the park to the bakery.

I wanted to stop and watch the children, and to go closer, but I feel so bad when people look at me with suspicion, so I grab a few frames at a distance, and keep going. Look how free the little one is!

A couple were calling their dog. "Lady! Lady!" On and on the whole time I was there.

Lady knew that meant leaving the park, so whenever they got close, she took off again. Does she look like a lady to you?

So often I see people in the park effectively training their dogs not to listen to them. *sigh*

pattyb The little girl's faces in #2 are priceless! Not a care in the world and that is exactly how it should be at that age, just perfect! What a smart girl Lady is, hope she didn't get in trouble. Now, the best part! I'll have the one with the raspberries please.... : )

junko Even if the country is different, the children are always energetic.
....but in these days I don't watch the children playing outside in Japan.
They usually play video game in their house.

I want to eat sweets in #6.
I am happy when I have a tea with these tarts.

abuxy Great action shots! Love how you captured the dog!

golorath I like the dog. =) I actually use a simple camera on my mobile (Sony Ericsson K700i) and edit them in Adobe Photoshop (;darkness and contrast, colour changes, new layer -> Layer style changes). ^^

JuliaGotz Thank you. I wondered. I've never seen pictures quite like yours. I think you are amazing, golorath. Original and talented. I hope you are in art school.

Yanko I liked number 2 very much! The lighting, the moment, the composition. It´s a nice set. About my photo, I was standing on the sand of the beach and took it with a 70-300 lens, so I could take it without being noticed.

ottosson Nice with children that don't care about the camera. I like that! Lovely pics.

aggiechristine I agree with Yanko, #2 is really special. Love the action in #4.

daisymae I adore the photos of the girls!

tortoise That second shot of the two girls playing is astonishing. Every time I look at it I love it even more. You captured a moment of pure joy. The older girl has a dancer's grace, and the little redhead looks like she could just take flight, a blur of pure energy.

jorgen The second is excellent in all respects (as are the cake shots as they look delicious!): good composition and colours!
