It's hard to photograph a photographer. They try to art direct the shot, so I ended up with a few photos of him that looked like he could have taken them. But I get to decide on the final cut, and I went with the shots that come from my way of looking.

Without even realizing it, I have learned about photography from Sam. Mostly an attention to available light and an appreciation for unembellished truth.
