Nadir Olivet is the owner/founder of La Carrera Cycles. He was just finishing up my bike's spring tune-up when I came by this afternoon, so I spent a little while in the store while he worked.

The place has style. Most of the people at La Carrera are seriously into bike culture and racing, and yet they are friendly and welcoming to ordinary citizens like me.

Everything about the store is creatively crafted and harmonized around the love of cycling and the dedication of talented individuals.

I like to be around people who are doing work they care about and enjoy.
