suspicious

I meet with a small group of psychotherapists to do peer supervision. We agree that our work demands that we are always learning, always expanding our understanding of what we do, always challenging each other to enter the unknown in ourselves.

Oh, and I did hand my camera to someone else in the group to take a picture of me, intending to include myself, but I just wasn't happy with the picture. I'm going to get flak from Gayle about this, I can tell you. See how she's looking at me in the 'suspicious' picture? She's on to me. I'm not bossy and controlling. I'm just aesthetically exacting.

mariovirga ...To release shots is not perhaps to psicoanalyze himself? Great portraits!

tortoise Aesthetically exacting. Hah!

t2d4th Trust is imperative in taking these honest feeling photos...don't break their trust...even if it means breaking your rule of aesthetics to include a picture of yourself! :-)

Carley I, also, like to see your "people" photographs.....You do have a talent for that! I LOVE your phrase of "aesthetically exacting" (It reminds me of those old "conjugations": I am firm-minded, You are stubborn, He is a rigid old goat....."

Sheldon Interesting people and great shots. Long live artistic license and veto! Tell Gayle to buy a camera!

monkeyface No fair... you gotta let us see that one.

JuliaGotz Notice Sheldon's comment above, Monkeyface!

JuliaGotz I cannot thank you all enough for your supportive and encouraging comments. It's a thrill for me whenever I log on.

And I'm willing to put up pictures of me. But I don't put up pictures of anyone unless the picture works (in my opinion). It was a lighting issue.

topangaki The contrast in your shots is superb!

jonrake very nice series ... very group ... begs the proverbial question, How many psychotherapists does it take to change a lightbulb?
jonrake · 2007-05-09: 12:11
JuliaGotz So tell me, jonrake - when did this intense interest in lightbulbs begin for you?
JuliaGotz · 2007-05-09: 12:43
