road trip

2007.07.13
sky in the windshield

The car company used to be called "rent a wreck", but they changed their name to the less ominous sounding "cheap wheels for rent". The car may not look great, but it really was cheap and it got me there and back without any trouble.

Getting out of the city, the cats were meow meow meowing and clawing at their cages. Once I got off the main highways, I could let them out of their cages. They immediately calmed down, and I remembered how much I like being on the road.

crack

cloud

wind power generators on the horizon

I was shooting one-handed while driving, so the pictures are tilted this way and that.

Dark sky about to pour rain.

Gordie is my co-pilot.

I pulled over and got out to take this shot.

It wasn't really a road trip, but it's my first time driving on the highway since a terrifying high speed accident last September, so it felt like something to me.

I have a few days of pictures to post before I'm caught up. If you were a player in Sunday night's game of MAFIA, those probably won't be up until late this week.

Sheldon I like the old house - feels like a painting.

I actually think I know where it is too - my guess would be on highway 10 north of Shelburne?
