Just two days post surgery - over a year and a half of surgeries, physiotherapy, and patience, trying to restore the use of her sinister side.

She knitted these slippers for ME!

You WANT my slippers, don't you? Now she's going to get a pair, in about the colour of that cup she's holding (but obviously, she'll have to wait a while, unless Rita learns to knit with her left foot (and I wouldn't put it past her)).

I love them. The average colour of my two cats, because I know slippers act as swiffers, and the fur won't show too much on these.

This spider on the patio furniture is a good omen. Everything will weave together just right.

Oh no...not again!! I sure hope this one is it for Rita. The arrangement of flowers is absolutely exquisite!! Darya is also looking beautiful!!

What a journey for Rita - best wishes. Perhaps the "Beware of Dog" sign is appropriate in the context of warning people not to step on small dog.
