Dawn's Handsome Fella, Scott. When he said 'sure, bring your camera' he was probably thinking I'd take a couple of pictures. This is him starting to realise I would be taking a LOT of pictures. But this is also the first one where he didn't close his eyes or look away. So you see, persistence is necessary.

The water glass left this design on the table. It's my couple portrait.

Look - I got dawn to POSE for me. If she was a cat, you would see her tail starting to twitch. She's not exactly easy to boss around. I wanted a picture with them both in the frame. Scott says "Julia, don't you think your camera is getting tired?"

Excellent portraits, they look great in B+W. I especally like the water design and the sepia portrait of Dawn. Sharpness is not always necessary in portraits (especially women), when everything else works . Very good set.

Love that watermark! It's the only subject that wasn't self-conscious ;-) The guy actually has a playful air about him in a couple of shots-- I think he was feigning exasperation while secretly buzzing over all the attention (I would be!). Wish I had friends who wouldn't mind being models over breakfast...
