On the way to the cemetery, I passed this Silk Cotton tree. I’m told it is about 100 years old. The trunk reminds me a little of baobab trees I saw in Africa.

Wow, you walked though that water? I hope you didn't get sick. I would of not passed you up and leaving you to wade. But looks like your so dedicated and tough. Got lots of admiration for you. Such good shots. Good Job......

True Gotz-quality pictures, as always. The story and the reverend is wonderful. Maybe that's something for people to remember; Live your life the way, that even others than your family wants to make a long trip just to say their final goodbye's. He must have been a remarkable man.
