Gathering the story from the comments here, i find myself startled into recognition of the scene in photo 1. Knowing a little more about it lends it great strangth, that has not been lessened by easy sentimentality.. You also play a few jazz notes in your set. ?;o). I especially like the Soviet cum 'Fargo-esque' look of the policeman in the last photo. It is composed of a wonderful set of elements, that lend it an otherness that cannot be ignored. Accidental maybe, but you had to see it to take it. Few do. Cheers.
