winter tired: the resistance

2008.01.29
I've decided to start taking supplements - calcium, salmon oil, omega 3 and vitamin d. I think the fish oil capsules look beautiful in the light. Sort of like I would imagine Jack's magic beans.

I cut open a wild salmon oil capsule for the kittens. STINKY! I couldn't get the smell off my hands. They loved the stuff.

surprise surprise - turns out that living without sunlight on our bodies is not so good for health. The risks of lack of vitamin D seem to outweigh the risks of sun exposure.

I've been reading more and more about Vitamin D. Almost all of us living in the north have serious deficiency of Vitamin D. Worth looking into.

In just a few days, the vitamin D seems to be working. No more sleepy.

allcopacetic (If you keep 'em in the freezer, it seems to limit their fishy burpitude.)

Zedsdead `Aaaaargh! My pet hate, dietry supplements. Great effect on the last shot. My vertical hold went so loopy, I thought I'd been smoking the wrong tobacco!

????? Very interesting set, my favorite is #1. - But I belive, that it is better to get those vitamins from REAL food- fruits, vegetables, etc... The best thing to fill you up with vitamins is to make your own pressings: orange, carrots, ananas, apple...mmm tasty! And when you are really brave, add beet to them... it's a bit bizarre, but very healthy. :)

bacco66 No way, it's some D vitamine, or go to Zanzibar.

Be careful with Calcium, it is not so good as THEY say

Suggestion: have some Belgian chocolates... like THIS

Amethyst I lovelovelove the first shot. Wow. The background... blurred... aaaahhhhhhhh so beautifullllll!!! I've run out of words for it!

I've often looked at advil liqui-gel capsules in the sunlight and thought of taking a picture. But I haven't. And now I Will! They're so vivid green and they focus the light in crazy ways.

Beautiful photos, again.
